Look no further -Diva Group is here to the rescue!

Seema Choudhery, Vasudha Rao, and Madhulika Gupta wanted to do something creative and interesting. This pursuit led them to establish Diva Group in February 2011.

“We wanted to do something different for the kids, and since summer holidays were just around the corner, we decided to host a summer camp.”

Today, Diva Group organises a whole host of activities including a fun-filled Summer Camp which has been successfully running since 2011.

This year they conducted the camp at the Tulip Inn Downtown Muscat, and hosted a series of self development activities such as:

  • Swimming
  • Karate
  • Public Speaking
  • Dance
  • Yoga
  • Art and Crafts
  • Zumba
  • Fancy Dress
  • Cooking Without Fire

Apart from these activities, they also organise competitions for the children to use their newly learnt skills and receive some positive reinforcement to keep the practice going.

“We wanted to relive our childhood days by being surrounded by children. We wanted to teach them new things but also ensure that they have fun learning these skills,”

-Diva Group

It’s not just the activities, but also the teachers who make it fun and exciting for the children.

The yoga instructor, Pallavi Shenoy says, “Yoga for children helps in building their stamina as well as boosts their immune system which is very important for children in today’s day and age. I use stories like Alice in Wonderland to take the children through different yoga postures. This way they not only stay healthy but also relate being healthy to having fun.

By the end of the camp, children not just leave as friends, but asfamily. A family that is there to back them up throughout the years.

They learn to socialize, be bold, participate, and never give up-all in a period of one month.
