“I am a graduate in electronic engineering from Caledonian College of Engineering, and I got into athletics when I was in school. My coach was impressed with my passion for athletics and I immediately started training.
“Since then, I have been part of the national athletics team. For the past 10 years, I have been a consistent sprinter participating in many competitions.
“It all comes down to hard work. Rigorous training sessions have helped me to develop my speed and represent Oman in several competitions – in hurdles, relay and long jump. I mostly concentrate on the 100m hurdles now.
“My goal is to represent Oman in the next Olympics as well and bring home a medal. This is right on top of my future plans.”
